U-46 added a prayer to be spoken every morning saying “Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we ask Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers, and our Country.” The prayer was voluntary and people won't be forced to say it. 10 students sued the school and the Illinois Appellate court said it was OK if they don't force them to do it.
